When will my goods be delivered? Our couriers pick up from us Monday to Thursday for delivery by 12 noon the following day – i.e. delivery on Tuesdays to Fridays. There are no deliveries at weekends or on Mondays.

How can I order? Order online on this website or by phoning the mail order line (01841 533361) during office hours. Our website has a secure credit / debit card facility which is managed by Paypal but can use cards from a wide range of financial institutions. You do not have to be a member or user of Paypal to use it.

Can I order from outside the UK? No, not at the moment, sorry. The difficulties of transporting fresh food items prevent us from delivering outside the mainland UK.

What about other parts of the UK? Unfortunately, because of the distances involved from Cornwall, there are some parts of the UK that we cannot service. This includes the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, the Scottish Islands and the following postcodes in Scotland: AB31-AB56, FK19-FK21, HS1-HS9, IV1-IV63, KA27-KA28, KW1-KW17, PA20-PA78, PH1-PH50 and ZE1-ZE3. Can I send pasties to friends as a gift? Absolutely. Just clearly detail the delivery address at time of order and tell us if you want a message added to the delivery. We do not put credit card slips or invoices in the box so the recipient will not know how much has been spent. If you want delivery on a certain day, please tell us at time of order.

How long will the pasties keep? Unlike many other suppliers of pasties by post, all Chough Bakery pasties are freshly made on the morning of despatch. Packed in an insulated box with a refrigerant, the pasties will arrive ready to eat at ambient temperature and will stay fresh to eat in a refrigerator for a couple of days. We don’t use preservatives so as with all genuinely “fresh” food, the pasties are best eaten sooner rather than later! Alternatively, you can freeze them until you need them.

Cooking instructions? All Chough Bakery pasties are already cooked so it is just a case of warming them through if required. Put the pasties in a preheated oven at 210 degrees (165 fan assisted) or gas mark 6 for about 10 minutes. We generally don’t recommend using a microwave as it will make the pastry soft. If frozen, thoroughly defrost on baking parchment before warming. Check the temperature at the centre of the pasty with a knife before eating.

How can I tell which pasties are which in the mixed box? Look on the top of the pasty for the following markings: Traditional Steak – single knife hole, Steak & Stilton – three knife slash marks, Cheese & Onion – three fork marks, Chicken and Mushroom – three knife marks in the shape of a “C”.

Will I get loads of emails from you after ordering online? We will never share your email address or contact details with anyone. We will occasionally send you an email alerting you to special offers but you can ask to be removed from our database at any time.
