Why buy from Chough Bakery?
We have been baking and fine tuning our delicious products for over 40 years in the heart of Padstow. Hand made by our small specialist team of bakers our products are all crafted to the highest standard. We use high quality ingredients which we aim to source as locally as possible. When you buy ‘Choughs’ you are buying a high quality product made in a traditional way with love and care.
Can I choose my delivery date?
We dispatch our orders on Mondays to Thursdays for delivery the following day before 12 noon by DPD. By default, we will dispatch your order on the next delivery slot (the same day if ordered before midday Mon-Thurs) However if you want your order dispatched on a later date, then simply fill in the delivery comments section when ordering with your preferred delivery day (Tues-Fri) and we will dispatch your order the day before. Sorry but we are currently unable to offer deliveries Sat-Mon.

Do I need to be home for delivery?
Our pasties are dispatched deep frozen so if your order contains pasties then you will need to be in to receive them so that you can pop them into your freezer as soon as they arrive. DPD will send you an estimated delivery time on the morning of your delivery. Any items that do not contain pasties will not be frozen so can be left somewhere safe, though be aware that some of our treat boxes contain clotted cream that could spoil if not refrigerated in a timely manner.
Can my order be sent to a different address as a gift?
Yes, absolutely! We think that our boxes of pasties or other treats make the perfect present. In our checkout you can add a separate name and address for delivery. If you would like us to pop a greeting in then just write it in the delivery comments box and we will pass your message on in one of our newly designed greetings cards.
Do you sell all your products online?
For our online shop we have put together some of our favourite products that work well with posting. We add new items and collections regularly to our online collection but our full range of delicious products can be sampled by visiting our shop in the heart of Padstow. Can I buy larger numbers of pasties or treats for my event or shop/restaurant?
Yes – We are able to offer delivery via DPD for larger quantities of frozen pasties for you to bake fresh, prior to your event. Our multi-buy offers in our online shop will allow you to order up to 72 pasties in a combination of up to 5 flavours with next day delivery if ordered Mon to Thurs before midday. The more you buy, the better value each pasty becomes. If you require more than 72 then please contact us directly.
For events local to Padstow we are able to bake your pasties and either deliver or offer collection. Please email sales@thechoughbakery.co.uk for more information.
