They are packed in insulated boxes with ice packs, however during spells of hot weather the ice packs may defrost fully or in part. Provided the pasties are still as cold as your fridge when delivered, they will be safe to consume after you cook them in line with our instructions. Always put the pasties in the freezer (or the oven!) as soon as you receive them.
What does the ‘PGO’ mean after the name of the pasty?
Cornish pasties have an EU protected geographical indication. This status is awarded to ‘highlight regional and traditional foods whose authenticity and origin can be guaranteed’. In short, when a product is followed by ‘PGO’, you can be assured that it meets the criteria to be an authentic Cornish Pasty.
